I’m bored. It’s back to work tomorrow. I have a load of holiday left, but I think I need a project to keep my occupied. I bought a new MacBook Pro whilst on travelling. It’s nice to be able to get things Duty Free (i.e. 17.5% discount off normal shop prices) by taking a flight from a UK airport. I guess the shops just take a hit on their margins when someone like me takes advantage of Duty Free within Europe.

I’ve taken everything off the old machine onto the new one, including upgrading the hard drive on the new machine to 1TB. It never fails to amaze me how storage is so cheap and so small. I’ve now just realised that after spend £1650 I now have the same thing as I had before, albeit a little faster !! What a technology sucker.

I thought about going into London. However, the trains were down and I didn’t fancy driving to Royston only to find no parking spaces due to the entire Roman Catholic population of East Anglia visiting London to view ‘the holy one’.

I wonder what tomorrow at work will bring. I guess a new project, but no idea what it will be. All I know is that I need to get out of the UK for a while..
