Ask any person what they imagine a garden in Oxford or Cambridge to be like and they’ll probably picture a well maintained lawn, a few choice shrubs. However, the reality is somewhat different in Cambridge as I’ve blogged before. However, I found recently that it isn’t limited to Cambridge- Oxford has the same problem. In this case, a garden centre specialising unusual statues etc. I’ve actually seen such a thing in Taiwan (Chinese statues etc.). However, I never thought I’d see it in the UK.

I tried to capture a photo in passing (below, look to the far right). I really wish I had the time to actually stop off and take some photo’s. During the picture taking, the simpleton you see in the picture actually started waving at me !
