I bother you once every 2-3 years for a supply of allergy tablets. I sent you a fax 5 days ago with clear instructions of what I needed (I don’t want to sit in a surgery full of sick people). Yes, I know it’s not the generic brand medicine, but it’s hardly the latest cancer treatment cost wise and it might have occurred to you that after 33 years of the same ailment I might actually know what solution is best. Instead you write me a prescription for something I could have bought in Boots and not have wasted 45mins of my time and £5 on. Result: book an appointment, waste everyone’s valuable time and money. Makes the NI rise worth it.
