This weekend is when the usual Strawberry Fair happens in Cambridge. This year it’s been cancelled due to various reasons. I’m actually quite glad as from what I’ve seen it’s when the great unwashed descend on Cambridge. There’s enough annoying people in Cambridge, so why encourage more ?

As a result of it being cancelled there’s apparently a protest happening today. They expect thousands of protestors. Given the type of people involved I highly doubt that (unlikely to get out of bed). Chatting with some people I thought it might be funny to buy a tannoy and heckle the protesters with comments such as:

* Get a new piece of string for your dog
* When was the last time you washed ?
* I prefer teak to hemp

As well as have a nice large steak BBQing on the side !
